Ghana Reggae Dancehall Awards calls for entries for 2024 edition

The Ghana Reggae Dancehall Awards (GRDAs) has officially launched its call for entries for the 2024 edition of the prestigious awards ceremony. The launch event took place on Thursday, October 3, 2024, at the Accra Tourist Information Centre in Accra.

Music artists, producers, and industry stakeholders are encouraged to submit their works for nomination. To be eligible, songs or albums must have been released between August 1, 2023, and August 31, 2024.

Submission guidelines include sending entries through the official website at www.ghrdawards.com or via email at [email protected]. Entries must clearly indicate the category being applied for and include the names of the artiste and producer.

The GRDAs aim to recognize and celebrate the best of reggae and dancehall music in Ghana. For more information on categories and submission rules, interested parties can visit the award scheme’s website or contact them via email.

The deadline for entries is set for November 30, 2024. Categories for the 2024 Ghana Reggae Dancehall Awards include Best Reggae Song, Best Dancehall Song, Best Reggae Album/EP, Best Dancehall Album/EP, Best Reggae Video, and Best Dancehall Video.

Best Collaboration (Reggae/Dancehall), Best International Collaboration, Best Producer, Best Selector/DJ, Best MC, Best Live Band, Best Performer, Best Mixtape, Best Male Artiste, Best Female Artiste, Best Songwriter, Best New Artiste, Best International Artiste, Best Sound System, Most Promising Artiste, and the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
