The prestigious Ghana Dance Industry Awards is set to take place at the National Theatre on February 8, 2025.
This annual event is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating Ghanaian dance icons and stakeholders who have made significant contributions to the development of dance in the country.
The awards ceremony will bring together key players in the dance industry, with performances by some of the industry’s top talents. In addition to the awards presentation, attendees can expect musical performances and other arts-related activities throughout the evening.
Founder of the Ghana Dance Industry Awards, Robert Klah, expressed his commitment to supporting the growth of dance as an art form.
The inaugural edition of the awards in 2021 honored esteemed dance legends such as Adjetey Sowah, Akosua Agyapong, Reggie Rockstone, and Terry Bright Ofosu, as well as twenty other notable personalities and institutions in the dance industry.
Supported by the Dancers & DanceSport Association of Ghana (DDASPAG) and powered by Dancetera, the Ghana Dance Industry Awards is a platform to showcase and celebrate the rich talent and creativity within Ghana’s dance community.
