The Ghana Dance Festival is set to kick off its 10th edition with the exciting Afrolatin Congress from August 29th to September 1st, 2024. This will be preceded by a week-long pre-party at various dance clubs in Takoradi, Kumasi, and Accra.
The Afrolatin Congress promises four days of captivating dance experiences in Salsa, Kizomba, Bachata, and Afro Dance through a series of workshops, dance parties, performances, and tourism activities.
The event itinerary includes the Akwaaba Night on Thursday at the Marriot Hotel in Airport, a day part tourism experience on Friday featuring a visit to the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park, and a Night Time DJs Party at Kavalli Night Club in Osu.
Saturday will kick off with workshops by local and international instructors during the day, leading up to the Grand Finale at night with spectacular performances.
Guests from Kumasi, Takoradi, Tamale, and Accra are expected to attend, along with international participants from Benin, Togo, Nigeria, Cote D’Ivoire, and South Africa.
