The Ghana Culture Forum (GCF) has announced the lineup of activities for the upcoming Ghana Culture Week celebrations, scheduled to take place from March 12 – 17, 2024. This year’s theme is ‘Cultivating Cultural Capital: Nurturing Ghana’s Legacy for Africa’s Renaissance.’

During a meeting with the Ghana Tourism Authority, Ahuma Bosco Ocansey, the Vice Chairman of the Ghana Culture Forum, outlined the week’s agenda. The event will include an inter-schools debate, a symposium, and the launch of the Africa Fashion Report in partnership with UNESCO, followed by a film showing. The symposium and report launch are scheduled for Thursday, March 14, 2024.

Chief Moomen, the producer of “Mansa Musa,” will deliver the keynote address, building upon the success of last year’s premiere at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Ben Anane-Nsiah, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for General Services at the Ghana Tourism Authority, expressed GTA’s support for GCF and acknowledged the forum’s role in enhancing the cultural sector, which is a crucial aspect of tourism.
