Stonebwoy recently discussed collaborations with foreign pop stars on an Instagram live session with Rick Ross, and the fashion critic Emmanuel Sandyman, known as Firestick, has criticised Stonebwoy’s mention of Rihanna as a future collaborator.
Firestick says that it would be difficult for Rihanna to go to the studio and record music due to her current situation of being a mother of two and expecting another child.
Stonebwoy expressed his desire to work with Rihanna, and a lot of Ghanaians were excited about this possibility.
However, Firestick criticized Stonebwoy, saying that he should have chosen other artists that he could easily reach out to for collaboration. He added that Rihanna’s current pregnancy and children are a priority for her right now.
Ghanaians have reacted to Firestick’s criticism, with many of them disagreeing with his views.
Some accused him of undermining Stonebwoy’s achievements and others questioned his motives for criticizing Stonebwoy.
This comes after Stonebwoy reportedly paid GH¢70k for repairs to the Accra Sports Stadium, a move which has caused some controversy. The National Sports Authority boss clarified that the payment was specifically for damages after Stonebwoy’s concert.
