Ghanaian Skit Maker and Actress, Olukemi Niyi-Aluko, also known as Diva Gold, has shared her thoughts on relationships and the importance of friendship within them.
According to her, it is essential for there to be a foundation of friendship within a relationship. She believes that having a best friend outside of one’s relationship is wrong, and that couples should be each other’s best friends.
Gold emphasized that mutual respect, support, and curiosity about each other’s lives are crucial. She also expressed the importance of being there for one’s partner during both happy and challenging times. She added that respecting each other’s opinions, even when they disagree, is also vital in a relationship.

She revealed that after discovering that her body mass index did not match her body weight, she realized that she needed to make a change. She joined a gym and dedicated herself to a serious workout routine, which resulted in noticeable weight loss in just a few weeks.
Furthermore, Gold credited veteran actress Sola Sobowale as the inspiration behind her web series titled ‘Abebi the Godmother,’ demonstrating the impact of mentorship and admiration within the entertainment industry.
