The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMFI) has introduced the FGBMFI Distinguished FootPrints Awards.
This new annual award scheme is designed to recognize and reward volunteers and individuals for their exceptional demonstrations of high integrity and public-spiritedness.
During the launch of the award scheme, Dr Joe Tackie, the Chairman of the award committee, highlighted the importance of acknowledging and supporting efforts to identify and condemn dishonest, corrupt, and immoral actions that have contributed to Ghana’s unfavorable position in the worldwide Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) Score.
Dr Tackie emphasized the principle that distinguishes good people and good deeds and stated that the FGBMFI believes in recognizing and rewarding volunteers and individuals who have significantly contributed to the general good and peace of the country, irrespective of their religious background.
The awards are intended to fill a gap within the administration of the Fellowship, to appreciate the achievements of individuals and units within the fellowship. The awards have been given a national flavor, including churches, para-church organizations, and the general body of Ghanaians who qualify to be acknowledged.
Furthermore, the first FGBMFI Distinguished Footprints Awards ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the La Palm Beach Hotel. The awards aim to recognize Members of the fellowship who have made significant contributions through their sacrifice and service to the growth of FGBMFI and the Kingdom of God.
The annual awards ceremony initiative will serve as a reminder of the contributions of distinguished members and will encourage others to walk with commendable examples. It is an exciting development that will hopefully inspire individuals and organizations to continue demonstrating high integrity and public-spiritedness for the betterment of Ghana.
