The members of Afro Harmony Band have opened up about the difficulties they faced in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. According to the band, there was a noticeable shift in the entertainment industry as DJs were getting more gigs, leading to a decrease in demand for live bands.

Speaking on the E Vibes Musical Band Series, Mac Hamlet, the deputy leader of the Afro Harmony Band, shared insights into the evolving landscape of live music. He mentioned that there has been a recent resurgence in the popularity of live bands, with more people and companies opting to include bands in their events.

Hamlet explained, “From the time of Covid, it was challenging for bands as there was a decline in demand due to financial constraints. DJs were dominating the scene, but now we are seeing a rise in interest for live bands again.”
