While Gwen Stefani is gearing up for the Coachella music festival and her highly anticipated reunion with former No Doubt bandmates Adrian Young, Tony Kanal, and Tom Dumont, she admits that there might be some hiccups along the way.

The band, which hasn’t performed together in nearly a decade, will be taking the stage in Indio, California, this April.

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the singer expressed her excitement but also admitted that she has some preparation work to do.

“I know it’s going to be amazing,” she said. “I’m so excited, and I think what is going to be hilarious is I know what’s going to happen. I’m going to get on stage and look around and just start cracking up because it’s just going to be like riding a bike.”

This comes as no surprise, as Coachella attendees are eagerly anticipating the group’s performance along with headliners Lana Del Rey, Tyler, the Creator, and Doja Cat.

Although the band hasn’t started rehearsing yet, Stefani revealed that she will need to relearn some of the band’s older hits. When probed by the host about the setlist, she shockingly revealed, “I don’t remember them, no, not at all. I don’t! I think I’m going to have to learn probably like, eight or nine [songs].”

Stefani then accidentally hinted at one of the tracks they’re going to perform, stating, “One of the first songs I ever wrote was called ‘Different People,’ we’re doing that.” Quickly realizing her mistake, she tried to backtrack, adding, “We might do that one.”

The band had last reunited in 2012 for their album ‘Push and Shove’, and their last performance together was in 2015. Their return to Coachella is expected to be a major highlight of the festival.

The No Doubt reunion, combined with Stefani’s forthcoming musical preparations, is already sparking excitement among fans. And a little laughter on stage may just be part of the show.
