Ghanaian gospel artist Celestine Donkor is gearing up for a grand return with the upcoming edition of her annual concert, Celestial Praiz.
After a hiatus last year, the 11th edition of Celestial Praiz is set to take place on March 9, 2025, at the Dominion Sanctuary of Victory Bible Church in Awoshie, Accra.
This year’s theme, “I Do a New Thing,” draws inspiration from Isaiah 43:19 and focuses on uplifting the gospel music ministry.
Celestine Donkor aims to empower church music through this edition of Celestial Praiz, bringing church choirs closer to her music ministry. To facilitate this, the event will feature two sessions of Intimate Worship Time with singers, giving choir groups a chance to minister at the concert.
In addition to revamping Celestial Praiz, Celestine Donkor has launched Campus Gospel with Celestine Donkor, a new initiative to engage young audiences with the gospel.
The inaugural event took place on January 31, 2025, at the Crown and Glory School in Gbaweh, with plans to continue the initiative with support from Celestine Donkor Ministries and partners.
Celestial Praiz 2025 will showcase performances from Celestial Breed, Celestine Donkor’s newly formed gospel music group, and other guest artists like Minister GUC from Nigeria and Zaza Mokhathi from South Africa.
The event promises to bring new experiences to attendees, with the hope of God impacting their lives in meaningful ways.
Tickets for Celestial Praiz 2025 can be purchased via 4471762#, and the event is sponsored by V-Spins, GoMusik, and Tang Palace Hotel.
