American rapper Cardi B has recently spoken out against an unwarranted visit from Child Protective Services (CPS) after receiving an anonymous prank call alleging child abuse.

During an Instagram Live session on October 22, 2024, Cardi B expressed her frustration and concern over the incident. The call led to a late-night visit to her home by CPS and law enforcement, claiming her children were being abused and beaten.

Cardi B, who is a minority in her neighbourhood, condemned the prank as irresponsible and disturbing. She emphasized the seriousness of involving her children in such a prank and vowed to take legal action against CPS and the individual responsible for the call.

The rapper made it clear that her children’s well-being and her role as a mother will not be compromised. She stated, “To do a prank call with CPS to come to my gated mansion at 11 pm while my children are sleeping because of an anonymous call that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you fucking dumb?”

Cardi B went on to say, “This is where the pranks start going too far, and you assholes think this is funny and it’s not funny. I promise you this: I’m going to sue child protective services and I’m also going to sue the person who made this call.”

She stressed that she would hire a top private investigator to identify the prankster and reiterated that her children have never been mistreated. Cardi B made it clear that she does not tolerate any threats to her children or her ex-husband’s role as a father.
