His move to Lagos marked a turning point in his career, where he played a pivotal role in establishing the first privately owned dance studio in Ikoyi.

Through his company, Dance & Art Alive, he redefined social nightlife by introducing a unique concept that combined dining, dancing, and social interaction, creating a space for people to bond and enjoy themselves without the pressure of traditional fitness routines.

Buddy’s entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when he organized the Merengue event in 2005, attracting sponsorships from major brands and solidifying his reputation as a trailblazer in the industry.

His efforts continued with the creation of the La Casera Salsa Splash Show in 2006, further cementing his position as a leader in the Nigerian dance community.

Beyond his own success, Buddy has dedicated his career to nurturing the next generation of dance talent. His involvement in cultural exchanges and international festivals has provided young dancers with opportunities for growth and exposure on a global scale.

As the Founder and Director of the West Africa Afro Latin Dance Festival, Buddy has created a platform for aspiring dancers to train, perform, and network with industry professionals. His annual tours to other countries in the region have not only fostered creativity and mentorship but also empowered upcoming talents to pursue their dreams.

Buddy’s impact transcends borders, as he has led dance tours in several countries, promoting cultural exchange and showcasing the richness of Afro-Latin dance.

Through his advocacy work with organizations like Sebeccly Cancer Care Foundation and Green Field Cancer Care, he has used his platform to raise awareness about important health issues and provide free screenings at major dance festivals.
