Meto mo kropon! This song is inspired by the deep significance of names, whether it’s the naming of a child or a town. Some children are named after their relatives, ancestors, or important personalities in society.”
In the same way, the names of towns and cities often hold intriguing tales behind them. For example, Obiri Komfo (Okomfo Anokye), a spiritual leader in the Asante Kingdom, is one such captivating story.
‘Meto wo kropon’ translates to ‘I will name a city after you’, portraying the song’s theme.
The single will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, Boomplay, YouTube, and other major streaming platforms at midnight on December 27.
