BigChefTertiary2 BTU bows out after Indomie and Starter Challenge

This week on Big Chef Tertiary, contestants faced the Indomie Challenge along with a high-stakes starter course, creating an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

Despite the challenge of transforming instant noodles into gourmet fare, contestants struggled to meet the judges’ expectations, leading to a display of creativity and skill that fell short.

The challenge initially seemed simple, but contestants found themselves scrambling to incorporate unique flavors to elevate the beloved Indomie noodles into a sophisticated dish.

Team TTU attempted a fusion-style Indomie with beet pomodoro stir-fry, but the flavors fell flat, disappointing the judges. Team HTU, known for their confident and ambitious ideas, took a risk with an Okro purée based Indomie, but the texture missed the mark, leaving the judges extremely disappointed.

Team KSTU’s beef Indomie with creamy curry sauce had potential but missed the mark with an overpowering kick that overshadowed other flavors. Team BTU also failed to impress judges with their Indomie with Tama sauce and Chicken. Overall, no contestant fully captured the high standard the judges were looking for.

With lackluster feedback all around, the judges faced a difficult decision on who would be eliminated. Unfortunately, BTU’s dishes struggled the most, lacking both flavor balance and creative execution.
