The Beyond the Return Summit, themed Beyond New Horizon, was a significant event that took place at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) head office in Accra on Monday, December 23, 2024.
This dynamic business summit aimed to build on the achievements of the “Beyond the Return” program and set a path for the next five years.
The event brought together local and global business leaders, public officials, entrepreneurs, and industry experts to discuss opportunities, establish partnerships, and drive sustainable economic growth in Ghana and across the African continent through the Return initiatives.
Under the NPP government, “Beyond the Return” has been a crucial program following the success of its predecessor, the “Year of Return.”
This program has not only enhanced tourism but also encouraged cultural exchanges and economic development, positioning Ghana as a key hub for the African diaspora.
The seminar was graced by notable dignitaries including the outgoing Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Mark Okraku Mantey, CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority Akwesi Agyeman, and Hon Khalid Kamau.
Mark Okraku Mantey emphasized the success of the Beyond The Return initiative structured around seven transformative pillars in his keynote address.
The summit was hosted by renowned Broadcaster Bernard Avle and was a platform for insightful discussions and collaborations.
