The much-awaited album “Salaga Soulja” by the talented Reggae artist Blakk Rasta was officially launched at an exclusive listening session on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the prestigious La Palm Royale Beach Hotel in Accra.
The event witnessed the presence of notable personalities from the Ghanaian media and entertainment industry, such as Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Kafui Dey, Mr Logic, Edem Mensah Tsetome, Black Santino, and Mo Spence.
Blakk Rasta, the artist himself, introduced the 20-track album, which includes collaborations with renowned musicians like King Ayisoba and Tiken Jah Fakoly. He captivated the audience with live performances of his new tracks.
Some of the tracks on the album include ‘Sodom & Gomorrah,’ Bua, Kafan Kere, Haile Haile Haile, Kokroko, Cameroon, Thief President, and My Dear Ghana.
During the Q&A segment, well-known media personalities Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Kafui Dey, and Mr Logic commended the album and showered it with high praise.
The guests at the event expressed their admiration for “Salaga Soulja,” sharing their favorite tracks and applauding Blakk Rasta for his outstanding artistry.
Blakk Rasta, whose real name is Abubakar Ahmed, gained fame in the Ghanaian music industry following the release of his hit song ‘Barack Obama’ in 2010.
