The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr. Frank Amoakohene, has taken a proactive step towards reviving the declining film industry in the region by inaugurating a 17-member ministerial committee.

This committee, which includes representatives from various sectors of the film industry, is specifically focused on rejuvenating Kumawood and creating sustainable employment opportunities for industry players.

Recognizing the challenges that Kumawood has faced in recent years, Dr. Amoakohene emphasized the importance of unity and teamwork among committee members during the swearing-in ceremony.
