The upcoming Rhythms On Da Runway event is set to be a night of celebration and recognition for individuals who have made significant contributions to the creative arts in Ghana.
Taking place on November 30 at the Grand Arena, this year’s edition will honor some of Ghana’s most prominent figures in the industry.
Among those being honored is Agya Koo Nimo, also known as Daniel Amponsah, who is recognized as Ghana’s leading expert in acoustic guitar Highlife and folklore.
Chief Dele Momodu of Ovation fame, who has consistently supported and invested in Ghanaian creatives, will also be recognized for his contributions.
Another honoree is Kwabena Kwabena, a respected voice in Highlife music who has inspired generations with his talent.
Additionally, Bibie Brew, a Ghanaian-French international singer known for her exceptional voice, will be among the recipients on the night.
Yvonne Ocloo, Producer and Creative Director of Rhythms On Da Runway, shared the list of honorees at the event’s launch on September 21.
She expressed her happiness in acknowledging Kwabena Kwabena, Agya Koo Nimo, Dele Momodu, and Bibie Brew for their immense impact on the creative arts in Ghana.
Since its establishment in 2010, Rhythms On Da Runway has been a symbol of unity, bringing together African fashion and music to showcase the talent that exists on the continent.
