Ghanaian dancer Afronitaa and her partner Abigail are making waves on the Britain’s Got Talent reality show.
The duo impressed judges and the audience with their infectious energy and synchronised moves, bringing back the spirit of Azonto with their performance to popular hits like Fuse ODG’s ‘Antenna’ and other Azonto classics.
The overwhelming reaction from the audience even led to a standing ovation for the pair.
In an interview with Adom TV, Afronitaa expressed joy at the opportunity to showcase their talent on such a big stage.
She emphasized that their feat is not just for themselves but for the collective happiness of Ghanaians and for raising the flag of Ghana high.
Afronitaa called on Ghanaians to show their support by voting for them and helping them make it to the semi-finals.
Although they received four yesses from the judges during the audition, they missed out on a golden buzzer that could have guaranteed them a spot in the semi-finals.
The next stage for the duo is Deliberation Day, where judges and producers will make final decisions on which acts will progress to the next round of the competition.
If Afronitaa and Abigail pass this stage, they will move on to the semi-finals, where they will perform live and rely on fans’ votes to advance to the finals.
