Afro Harmony, a popular band known for their performances at the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, recently shared insight into their musical influences during their early days.
Speaking on the Musical Band Series segment of E Vibes, the band leader, Junior, revealed that they looked up to the globally acclaimed group, Maroon 5, for inspiration.
Junior emphasized that while they initially drew inspiration from Maroon 5, Afro-Harmony is now focused on creating their own unique sound and identity.
“We used to take inspiration from Maroon 5 back then. Now we are doing our own thing and trying to carve out our own sound to let people know that this is the Afro Harmony Band sound,” he said.
