Reports from officials indicated that the cause of death was a gunshot wound, according to TMZ.
Just before her death, Karter resurfaced an old feud with singer Chris Brown, which dated back to 2015. She accused Brown of paying her $2,500 to be his escort and subsequently engaging in online bullying when she declined his advances.
Karter made her claims against Brown via several fuming tweets before her sudden death, with the fuming tweets continuing until the day before she died. According to Karter, Brown thought their ‘deal’ included sex and Karter’s refusal led to him bullying her on social media.
In her fuming tweets, Karter also referred to Brown as a woman-beater and went as far as to claim he was a stalker. She even posted explicit photos that she claimed were of Brown, before her account was suspended by the platform.
She continued her tirade against Brown until at least one day before her death, when his legal team got her account suspended. However, it is clear that the exchange made a significant impact before her tragic death.
