Reggae-dancehall artist Ras Kuuku has recently shared his frustration regarding the ungrateful behavior of some young musicians in the industry.
During an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Ras Kuuku revealed that after helping these budding artists gain recognition and fame, they tend to forget those who supported them along the way.
According to the reggae star, some artists and their management teams have approached him for assistance, but once they become successful, they sever all ties with him.
Ras Kuuku cited rapper Yaa Pono as an example of someone who has faced similar treatment from young musicians he had helped in their careers.
He also mentioned the late Ghanaian superstar Ebony Reigns as one of the artists he supported in her rise to stardom but only received acknowledgment after her passing.
Despite the lack of gratitude from these individuals, Ras Kuuku remains hopeful that their good deeds will eventually be recognized.
