Actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as Lil Win, has made the decision to withdraw from the upcoming parliamentary elections scheduled for December.
Lil Win, who had aspirations to represent the Afigya Kwabre North constituency in the Ashanti region, cited financial constraints as the primary reason for his withdrawal from the race.
During an interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Lil Win disclosed that he lacks the necessary funds to support a successful campaign. As a result, he has postponed his parliamentary ambitions to the year 2028. Additionally, he expressed his reluctance to align with either the New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the National Democratic Congress (NDC) due to his affinity for both parties.
“I am no longer contesting… I will be contesting in the next four years… I am waiting for that. I am going independent,” Lil Win stated during the interview. He also emphasized his desire to remain neutral and maintain friendships across party lines.
It appears that Lil Win’s decision to withdraw from the parliamentary elections has stirred up discussions among his fans and followers.
