Ghanaian music sensation Wendy Addo, known in the industry as Wendy Shay, continues to show her philanthropic side by bringing joy to the less privileged in society.
To celebrate World Children’s Day in 2024, Wendy Shay’s Foundation extended its support to the Manhean M/A Basic School in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The talented musician donated essential items including school uniforms, exercise books, erasers, pencils, sharpeners, rulers, and pens to the students of the school to enhance their learning experience.
Additionally, Wendy Shay provided the school with white marker boards, graphic boards, whiteboard markers, and alphabet and number charts to create a more interactive learning environment.
Furthermore, the “Vivian” hitmaker installed ceiling fans in the classrooms to ensure a comfortable atmosphere for both students and teachers during lessons. Wendy Shay also funded the maintenance of the school’s cracked floors by supplying cement and sand to reinforce safety measures.
In addition to these contributions, Wendy Shay donated plastic chairs to provide extra seating for students and staff at the school.
During a brief speech at the ceremony, she expressed her commitment to supporting more initiatives in Ghana through her foundation and called for assistance from others to join her in making a positive impact in the community.
