Gospel sensation Diana Asamoah recently graced the funeral of the late former Minister of Finance, John Kumah, which took place on Saturday, May 18, 2024. The event was a solemn occasion where Diana, dressed in all black, delivered a heartfelt performance of her popular song “Mo mmo no ose” to uplift and console the grieving family.
John Kumah, who also served as the MP for Ejisu, sadly passed away on March 7, 2024. His final funeral rites were held in his hometown of Onwe in the Ejisu constituency, where a multitude of individuals, including NPP members and loved ones, came to pay their respects.
Notable figures in attendance at the funeral included Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, who was visibly moved as he bid farewell to his close colleague.
The Chief of Staff Akosua Frema Osei-Opare, National Chairman of the NPP Stephen Ayesu Ntim, and General Secretary Justin Kodua Frimpong were also part of the delegation, alongside several Ministers of State, NPP MPs, and party executives.
Actor Agya Koo, a strong supporter of the NPP, was also present to honor the late John Kumah.
