Family, friends, and sympathizers gathered on Saturday, March 9, 2024, to remember the late Kwabena Kwakye, also known as Wofa KK, at his One-Week celebration.
Even in the midst of sadness, there were moments of joy shared among those in attendance.
Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Assin Central MP Kennedy Agyapong, and other prominent members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were among the dignitaries present. Alan Kyerematen, the Founder and Leader of the Movement for Change, also graced the occasion.
A highlight of the event was when Kennedy Agyapong and Alan Kyerematen took to the dance floor, displaying their dance skills to the tune of Ghana’s ‘Isreal eni bedye’ song. A video shared by GhOne TV captured the moment, including Patricia Christabel Kyerematen, Alan Kyerematen’s wife, joining in the dance.
The One-Week celebration was held at the forecourt of Ken City Media, where Wofa KK’s body was laid in state.
