Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia recently paid a visit to the popular YOLO actor, John Peasah, who is fondly known as Drogba.
Drogba is currently battling demyelination, a disorder that affects the nerves and can cause issues with vision, movement, and sensation.
The Vice President visited Drogba in his home to show his support and offer comfort during this challenging time. A video of the visit was shared on social media, showing the Vice President being warmly welcomed by the actor’s family members.
The news of Drogba’s condition was first shared by his colleague actor, Jeffrey Nortey, who called for financial assistance to help with Drogba’s treatment.
Drogba’s sister, Hannah Mensah, also spoke out about her brother’s condition, revealing that he has been struggling since the last season of the series.
Hannah disclosed that they visit the hospital every week for treatment and are currently waiting for test results from outside Ghana for further diagnosis.
She explained that Drogba has been experiencing double vision and pain in his right eye, making it difficult for him to perform daily tasks.
She emphasized that Drogba is in need of support from the public to aid in his recovery process.
