Renowned Ghanaian highlife musician Nana Acheampong has finally addressed the rumors surrounding his relationship with his brother from the music industry, Daddy Lumba.
In a recent interview on GHPage TV, Acheampong clarified that there is no animosity between them and that the decision to split as solo artists was a mutual and amicable one.
Despite popular belief that there was a beef between them, Acheampong emphasized that they never had any bad blood between them. He expressed frustration that fans assumed they were fighting without understanding the real reason behind their decision to pursue solo careers.
“There is no bad blood between my brother Lumba and me. We never said we were fighting and informed you to also fight. You were the ones who made up your minds to fight because you thought we were fighting. I think people didn’t understand why we had to split up. They thought we had a fight and fell apart; they didn’t know we had an amicable decision to be solo artists. Nobody even took a step to ask us why we decided to split, they just perceived that we fought,” Acheampong explained during the interview.
The musician’s clarification comes as a relief to fans who may have been speculating about the nature of their relationship. It is evident that despite going their separate ways in their music careers, there is no bad blood between Nana Acheampong and Daddy Lumba.
