Shatta Wale Donates GH¢30,000 to Sanitation Volunteers

Renowned Reggae/Dancehall artist Shatta Wale has made a generous donation of GH¢30,000 to the “Buz Stop Boys,” a group of sanitation volunteers in Accra.

During a clean-up exercise in Alajo, Accra on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Shatta Wale joined the group and presented the donation to support their environmental initiatives.

In a brief speech at the event, the celebrated musician commended the Buz Stop Boys for their dedication to keeping the community clean through various sanitation projects.

“I am here to show my support and encouragement to the Buzz Stop Boys for their commendable efforts.

We all recognize the challenges they face, and their commitment to ensuring our environment is safe deserves recognition,” Shatta Wale expressed.

Through his foundation, Shatta Wale emphasized the importance of supporting such campaigns and hopes that by promoting clean environments, healthy living will be encouraged.

He also called on the youth to rally behind the volunteers and help make a difference in maintaining clean communities.
