Renowned relationship expert, Counselor Adofoli, has urged popular Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale to consider incorporating a mental health professional into his management team. This advice comes in light of the artist’s frequent public outbursts.
Counselor Adofoli highlighted Shatta Wale’s pattern of emotional unpredictability, citing incidents like the VGMA awards ceremony and conflicts with Charterhouse Productions as examples where improved emotional regulation could have been beneficial. He suggested that Shatta Wale’s inner circle may avoid addressing sensitive issues to avoid upsetting him, emphasizing the potential advantages of having a counselor, therapist, or psychologist as part of his team.
“Some people don’t know how to handle their emotions in stressful situations, and so they lash out publicly,” Counselor Adofoli explained. “Those close to him likely avoid saying things that might upset him, which is why having a mental health professional on his team would be beneficial.”
This recommendation comes at a time when mental health challenges within the entertainment industry are receiving increased attention, underscoring the importance of emotional well-being for public figures. Criticism of Shatta Wale’s behavior escalated following an incident at Sallahfest, where he insulted Stonebwoy for not attending the event. The derogatory remarks aimed at Stonebwoy’s gait sparked widespread condemnation after videos of the incident circulated on social media.
