Ghanaian Afrobeats artist, Camidoh, has shared some advice for those going through heartbreak, encouraging them not to suffer in silence.

He emphasized the importance of seeking professional help and talking to others about their feelings, drawing from his own experience of overcoming a painful breakup.

During an interview with DJ Slim on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Camidoh revealed that driving alone at night and spending time with friends helped him in coping with the heartbreak. The singer recently released a new song titled ‘Nothing Lasts Forever,’ which reflects on a personal incident that occurred about a year ago.

The track, produced by Camidoh, Nawtyboi Tattoo, and Baba Wood, touches on the ups and downs of love and advises listeners to approach relationships with logic to avoid unnecessary pain.

Camidoh shared that losing a loved one due to misunderstandings was a difficult experience for him, leading to depression and the need for therapy. The music video for ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ portrays the importance of seeking help during such challenging times.

Known for his hit songs like ‘Sugarcane Remix,’ which has garnered over 100 million views on YouTube, Camidoh has made a name for himself in the music industry. His ‘Contingency Plan EP’ released in 2021 received critical acclaim, and his track ‘Sugarcane’ won the Afrobeats Song of the Year award at the 2023 Ghana Music Awards.
