Controversial cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, left Nigeria shortly after being released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
In a video shared on social media, Bobrisky could be seen aboard a plane, hinting at his departure to an unknown destination. The cross-dresser proudly announced that he was travelling in first class, emphasizing the high cost of his ticket.
“This girl bought a first-class ticket three times; that’s over 30 million. Raise the bar for this girl,” Bobrisky stated in the video.
Accompanying the announcement was a video featuring an image of his international passport, with Bobrisky jokingly commenting, “That passport disfigured my picture.”
Bobrisky’s departure follows his recent run-in with the law, starting in April 2024 with a six-month sentence for naira abuse. However, reports suggest that he spent only three weeks in Kirikiri Prison before being discreetly relocated.
In September, tensions escalated when social media influencer Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, released an audio recording allegedly featuring Bobrisky discussing bribing EFCC officials to drop money laundering charges against him.
On Thursday night, Bobrisky was reportedly removed from an Amsterdam-bound KLM flight at Murtala Muhammed International Airport while attempting to travel to London.
