Renowned presenter from Angel FM, Ohemaa Woyeje, has opened up about the driving force behind her successful career in the media industry.
In a recent interview, Ohemaa Woyeje shared that her resilience and determination come from a desire to prove her doubters wrong.
She revealed that she has faced challenges and obstacles along the way, with colleagues who questioned her abilities and belittled her achievements. However, instead of letting this negativity hold her back, she has used it as fuel to propel herself forward.
“My inspiration comes from the challenges I’ve faced,” she explained. “I find courage in knowing there are people who want to see me fail. That’s where I draw my strength. I’ve faced bullying and sabotage from both men and women who were once my colleagues, solely due to my capabilities.”
Despite facing adversity within the industry, Ohemaa Woyeje remains determined and focused on her goals. She credited her producer, Nii Kwasi Lartey, for providing support during internal conflicts.
Transitioning from an MC to a versatile voice-over artist, Ohemaa Woyeje has tirelessly worked to establish herself as a respected presenter and DJ. She aims to leave behind a legacy of originality and innovation.
“I aspire to be remembered as a trailblazer, not just a follower,” she emphasized. “Originality is my aim.”
In addition to her media career, Ohemaa Woyeje is also pursuing a degree in Law and is the author of “2D Experience,” an autobiography detailing her two-decade journey in the media landscape.
