David Appiah, a Senior Resource Manager and Engineer at GE Vernova, a global energy company, is set to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest speech marathon.
With his impressive motivational speaking skills, he aims to inspire the youth during this marathon event at the World Trade Centre in Accra on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Appiah is determined to surpass the current record held by Ananta Ram KC, a Nepalese motivational speaker, who spoke for 90 hours and 2 minutes. With unwavering confidence, he aims to speak for an impressive 100 hours, 10 minutes, and 10 seconds.
The ambitious engineer announced his mission at a press event on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the Stanbic Incubator Conference Hall in Accra.
Appiah joins fellow Ghanaians in various disciplines attempting to achieve Guinness World Records, showcasing the talent and determination of individuals in the country.
