Renowned Ghanaian music producer Mark Okraku-Mantey has expressed his concern over his inability to remember the contestants on the popular reality TV show Mentor.

In an interview with JoyNews, Okraku-Mantey admitted that despite being an integral part of the show’s judging panel, he struggles to recall the names and performances of the contestants each week.

“I must confess that it’s really worrying. As a judge on the show, I should be able to easily remember the contestants and their performances, but for some reason, I find myself constantly forgetting,” he said.

Okraku-Mantey attributed his difficulty in remembering the contestants to the large number of participants on the show and the pressure of having to critique their performances.

“I think one of the challenges is that there are just so many contestants this season, and it becomes overwhelming trying to keep track of everyone.

Also, as a judge, I have to focus on providing constructive feedback, which sometimes distracts me from remembering their names,” he explained.

Despite his struggles, Okraku-Mantey emphasized that he is committed to supporting and mentoring the contestants to help them reach their full potential.

“I may not remember all their names and performances off the top of my head, but I am dedicated to helping them grow as artists and guiding them on their musical journey. That is my ultimate goal as a judge on Mentor,” he said.

Mentor is a popular reality TV show in Ghana that aims to discover and nurture young musical talents. The show has been instrumental in launching the careers of several successful artists in the Ghanaian music industry.
