Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as ‘Lilwin’, has expressed his gratitude to God after surviving a terrifying car accident on his way to the premiere of the movie ‘A Country Called Ghana’ in Kumasi.
During the movie premiere, Lilwin made his first public statement about the accident, appearing with a white bandage covering his forehead where he sustained injuries.
Despite being advised to stay home, he felt compelled to attend the event due to the presence of local chiefs and supporters.
Lilwin credited his survival to the grace of God and thanked everyone who supported him during the ordeal. The accident occurred just hours before the premiere, where Lilwin and others were injured in a head-on collision.
The crash took place in Amakom, a suburb in Kumasi, witnesses reported that Lilwin’s vehicle was speeding from the Amakom intersection towards the WAEC area when it swerved into the opposite lane and collided with a private family car.
The collision left the father and his four-year-old child in the family car with severe head injuries, with the child being unresponsive.
Lilwin and his two passengers also suffered head injuries, and both vehicles were heavily damaged in the accident. One victim mentioned that her car lights were shattered by the speeding vehicle.
