Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as LilWin, has provided an update on the legal dispute between himself and actress Martha Ankomah.
The two have attended court sessions in an effort to reach a peaceful settlement through legal means.
LilWin remains hopeful for a positive outcome and assures that the proceedings are moving along towards a speedy resolution. He emphasized that the details of the case are to remain confidential, and any blogger who discloses information about the case will face consequences.
In a statement, LilWin expressed his respect for Martha’s talent in acting and mentioned his intention to involve her in his next movie project once the dispute is settled. Both parties have agreed to keep the specifics of the case private as per a court order, resulting in limited media coverage.
Previously, Martha Ankomah had taken legal action against LilWin, citing defamation and seeking restitution of 5 million Ghana cedis for the harm done to her reputation.
The feud began on February 8, 2024, when LilWin publicly criticized Martha on social media, accusing her of rejecting roles in the Kumawood film industry. Despite the conflict, LilWin has expressed his admiration for Martha’s acting abilities and looks forward to working with her in the future.
