Popular Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as LilWin, has recently spoken out against negative comments made by fellow actor Oboy Siki in a public forum.
In an interview on Angel FM that was monitored by GhanaWeb, LilWin criticized Oboy Siki for making baseless insults that damage his reputation. He claimed that the accusations made by Oboy Siki during his media appearances are untrue and are only meant to enhance Siki’s own public image.
LilWin stated, “This man is a huge liar, spreading false information about me. His insults do not affect me as he is like a father figure to me, but the problem lies in the fact that people believe him. He may think he is promoting my movies, but not everyone sees it that way.”
He went on to add, “I have no problems with anyone in the film industry, nor have I ever quarreled with them. My concern is the lies and insults he directs towards me on the radio, for which he receives GH¢1,000 and sometimes GH¢1,500 as payment.”
In response to these allegations, Oboy Siki expressed his unhappiness with LilWin’s claims. He retorted, “Kwadwo, are you calling me a liar? Have I ever lied about you during our time together? I did not realize you were this foolish. I do not get paid when I promote you. If you believe I insult you, that is one thing, but I do not lie about you. If it bothers you so much, why not pay me to stop?”
This latest spat between the two actors stems from Oboy Siki’s criticism of the trailer for LilWin’s movie “A Country Called Ghana,” where he criticized the lighting and sound quality. Oboy Siki is known for frequently making negative remarks about LilWin’s films and personal life in public settings.
