Kumawood actor, Lil Win, is counting his blessings after surviving a harrowing car accident on his way to the premiere of A Country Called Ghana in Kumasi.
The actor, visibly shaken but grateful, addressed the audience at the movie premiere hours after the accident.
Sporting a white bandage on his forehead, Lil Win expressed his gratitude to God for sparing his life in the crash. Despite being advised to stay indoors due to his injuries, he couldn’t ignore the presence of local chiefs and other supporters who had gathered for the event. This motivated him to make an appearance once he felt better.
The accident, which occurred on Saturday morning in Amakom, Kumasi, left Lil Win and his passengers with head injuries. Eyewitnesses reported that the actor was driving at high speed when he suddenly veered into another lane, colliding head-on with a family car carrying a father and his four-year-old child. The child sustained severe head injuries and was unresponsive at the scene.
The impact of the collision left both vehicles heavily damaged, with a third victim also reporting damage to her car lights from the speeding vehicle. Despite the terrifying ordeal, Lil Win expressed his heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported him during this challenging time.
