Kyiri Abosom explains why he doesn’t follow the Bible but believes it is history

The leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Christian Kwabena Andrews, also known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has made controversial statements regarding his beliefs and practices. In a recent interview on the Class Morning Show with Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang, Kyiri Abosom revealed that he does not follow the Bible as the ultimate source of guidance, unlike many other religious leaders.

He boldly stated that he views the Bible as a historical record and does not see it as a powerful tool to depend on for spiritual guidance. Instead, he emphasized his belief in direct communication with God, rather than relying on ancient scriptures.

Kyiri Abosom’s unconventional views extend to his interpretation of Jesus’ sacrifice. He challenges the traditional Christian belief that Jesus died for all generations, arguing that Jesus’ sacrifice was meant for those who lived during his time, not for present-day believers.

This unorthodox approach to spirituality sets Kyiri Abosom apart from other religious leaders, as he advocates for a more experiential understanding of spirituality rather than strict adherence to traditional biblical teachings. His emphasis on present experiences and direct communication with God is a departure from conventional Christian doctrines.
