Ghanaian artist, King Promise, has finally addressed the rumors surrounding his recent music video, which featured a wedding ceremony with notable figures in the entertainment industry dressed in traditional Kente attire.
In an interview with Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz, the popular musician confirmed that the wedding depicted in the video was indeed a legitimate marriage ceremony.
According to King Promise, the effort put into the production of the video was a result of it being a real African ceremony. He emphasized that the event was not just for show, stating, “It was a true African ceremony.
Do you think we will waste money like that?” The artist revealed that only a few close friends and family members were present at the private ceremony but hinted at the possibility of a larger wedding in the near future.
Addressing speculation surrounding the authenticity of the wedding portrayed in the video, which included guests like Sarkodie, Dancegod Lloyd, and Joey B, King Promise assured fans that he would announce his marriage plans officially when the time is right. However, he made it clear that he values his privacy and prefers to keep personal matters out of the public eye.
“Everything will unveil itself very soon. Rest assured I’ll unveil it but my private stuff remains private,” King Promise stated.
Fans can expect further updates on his marital status in due course, but for now, the artist is focused on his music career and maintaining a level of discretion when it comes to his personal life.
