I’m optimistic of breaking Guinness World Record Speech-a-thon – David Appiah

GE Vernova’s Senior Resource Manager and Engineer, Daniel Appiah, is gearing up to make history by attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest speech marathon.

The current record of 90 hours and 2 minutes is held by Nepalese motivational speaker Ananta Ram KC, but Daniel is aiming to surpass this by speaking for an impressive 100 hours, 10 minutes, and 10 seconds.

Daniel Appiah, who is also a motivational speaker and author, revealed his record-breaking attempt at a press conference held at the Stanbic Incubator Conference Hall in Accra. He emphasized that his goal is to inspire the youth through this remarkable feat.

The Speech-a-thon challenge is scheduled to take place on June 25, 2024, at the World Trade Centre in Accra.

This event is expected to attract a lot of attention and support from the public as Daniel Appiah strives to make history with his endurance and determination.
