Ghanaian musician A Plus, also known as Kwame Asare Obeng, and his wife, Violet Obeng, popularly known as Akosua Vee, have come out strongly to refute allegations involving A Plus and Ghanaian presenter MC Yaa Yeboah.
In a statement shared on social media, Akosua Vee stated that there is no truth to the claims that her husband fathered a child with MC Yaa Yeboah.
She made it clear that neither she nor A Plus have any knowledge of such a “baby mama” and that their marriage is in good standing.
“I want to make it clear that my husband has not been involved in any scandalous affair, and any rumors suggesting otherwise are baseless and should be disregarded,” Akosua Vee said in her statement.
She went on to emphasize that she is married to a responsible man and that any attempts to tarnish his reputation will not succeed.
Akosua Vee also addressed the alleged “family sittings” mentioned in the rumors, stating that she currently resides outside the country, making such claims unfounded.
Furthermore, Akosua Vee asserted that even if her husband had been involved in any extramarital entanglements resulting in a child, it would be a private matter for their family to handle.
The allegations against A Plus and MC Yaa Yeboah surfaced during a conflict between Afia Schwarzenegger and UTV entertainment pundit MC Yaa Yeboah.
Afia accused Yeboah of having an affair with A Plus and having his child, questioning Yeboah’s credibility in judging Ghanaian celebrities on the United Showbiz show.
In light of these developments, A Plus and Akosua Vee have made it clear that they are focused on their family and will not entertain any baseless rumors or attempts to tarnish their reputation.
