Ghanaian music artist Emmanuel Yeboah, popularly known as AY Poyoo, has gained fame for his unique style and viral tracks like “GOAT.”
However, the rapper recently took to social media to address the financial challenges he has faced after three years in the industry.
AY Poyoo expressed frustration over receiving meagre payments, revealing that no show promoter has compensated him over $200, with the highest payment he has received being only $100.
Despite his online success, the artist highlighted the lack of support and recognition from Ghanaians and the media, shedding light on the harsh realities that emerging talents often face in the music industry.
In a candid statement, AY Poyoo said, “I didn’t make anything in the Ghanaian music industry. Three years, I have earned nothing.”
