Ghanaian music star MzVee recently shared a surprising revelation about her perception of Home Economics before starting Senior High School.
The artist, also known as Vera Hamenoo-Kpeda, admitted that she initially thought Home Economics was for lazy students and chose the subject to avoid demanding academic work.
Attending St. Mary’s Senior High School, MzVee confessed, “When I went to Secondary School, I chose Home Economics because I was lazy and didn’t want to learn, and then I figured it out.” However, she soon discovered that her assumption was wrong.
Reflecting on her experience, MzVee emphasized, “I came to understand that it was one of the toughest things to do.” She highlighted the challenging nature of the practical aspects, noting that they required a significant amount of time and effort.
The singer concluded by stating, “It was tough, and then that’s when I learned my first lesson that nothing in life is easy.” MzVee’s story serves as a reminder that sometimes our preconceived notions can be misleading and that true growth comes from facing challenges head-on.
