Ghanaian rap sensation Okyeame Kwame has shared a surprising moment from his past during an interview on Quophi Okyeame’s ’30 Questions’ show.
The award-winning artist revealed that while traveling on a Greyhound bus from New York to Columbus in the United States, he engaged in a spontaneous and intimate moment with a white lady he had never met before.
“I was on a Greyhound bus from New York to Columbus and there was a white girl by my side on the bus. Before we reached Columbus, we were already deeply kissing and indulging in petting,” Kwame recounted. This daring incident took place back in 2001, leaving a lasting memory for the ‘Faithful’ hitmaker.
Interestingly, Okyeame Kwame disclosed that he did not even exchange contact information with the woman after their steamy encounter. Once they both disembarked from the bus, it was the end of their unexpected connection.
Aside from his candid revelation, the musician also delved into various topics during the interview, ranging from tourism, music, film, and parenting.
Okyeame Kwame, who is married to Annia Nsiah-Apau, reflected on the public admiration for their relationship and how they navigate social media and real-life interactions.
After branching out as a solo artist, Okyeame Kwame has carved a niche for himself in the music industry with hit songs like ‘Woara’, ‘Woso’, ‘Anaa’, ‘Made in Ghana’, and ‘No Competition’.
