Ghanaian rapper Medikal recently wowed the crowd at the O2 Indigo in London with a surprise performance alongside his ex-girlfriend Sister Derby.
The sold-out show took place on Friday, May 3, 2024, and attendees were treated to a special collaboration between the former couple.
The unexpected reunion sparked conversations online, with many speculating that Medikal’s motive was to provoke his ex-wife Fella Makafui.
However, in a recent interview on UTV, Medikal clarified that the performance was simply a chance for fans to experience the chemistry they witness in his music videos and on social media.
According to the rapper, the decision to invite Sister Derby on stage was to give the audience a taste of their collaboration and allow them to enjoy themselves.
Medikal, whose real name is Samuel Frimpong Adu, now joins the league of Ghanaian artists who have successfully hosted shows at the prestigious O2 Indigo, including Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Amakye Dede, Kuami Eugene, and KiDi.
