Ghanaian musician Nana Kwaku Osei, known as Nacee, has shown his support for the policy ideas of National Democratic Congress presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama.

Speaking at the NDC Manifesto launch in Winneba on August 24, 2024, Nacee expressed confidence in Mahama’s past achievements and his potential to benefit the nation with his ideas.

Nacee is not alone in his endorsement of the NDC, as other members of the creative arts industry such as Big Akwes, Christiana Awuni, Mercy Asiedu, Jack Alolome, and Kofi Okyere Darko have also publicly declared their support for the party.

This is not the first time Nacee has aligned himself with the NDC, as he is well-known for composing songs for the party’s campaigns, including hits like ‘E Dey Be’, ‘Onaapo’, and ‘Mahama Okada’.

The National Democratic Congress has outlined several policies, including the promotion of a 24-hour economy to boost Ghana’s economic growth.

For the creative arts sector, the NDC plans to establish ‘The Black Star Experience’ as Ghana’s flagship Culture, Arts, and Tourism brand, aiming to make Ghana a preferred tourism destination.

Additionally, the party aims to support young digital content creators, revive the creative arts fund to provide financial support for start-ups and enterprises, enforce broadcasting and digital content provisions to promote local artistic productions and enhance the collection and management of copyrights and royalties in Ghana.
