The Ghana Society of the Physically Disabled (GSPD) has issued a stern rebuke to popular musician Shatta Wale for his disrespectful comments towards fellow artist Stonebwoy regarding his disability.
During a performance at Sallah Fest, Shatta Wale took aim at Stonebwoy’s absence at the event and went on to make derogatory remarks about his manner of walking.
The incident was captured on video and quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing widespread condemnation.
The GSPD expressed serious concerns about the impact of Shatta Wale’s behavior on the mental well-being of the physically disabled community.
In a press statement released on Monday, April 15, 2024, the organization condemned Shatta Wale’s actions as irresponsible and insensitive.
