Popular Ghanaian actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as LilWin, is urging for increased support for the arts and entertainment industry in Ghana.
He has specifically highlighted the significant contributions of former President John Dramani Mahama in nurturing and promoting the creative sector.
LilWin commended Mahama for his consistent support of creative professionals, citing Mahama’s purchase of 200 tickets for the premiere of LilWin’s movie, “A Country Called Ghana,” as a meaningful gesture of backing.
“Leaders in Ghana could learn a lot from John Mahama’s generous spirit, especially his unwavering support for the arts community.
His contributions have been substantial, and it is important to recognize this. My remarks go beyond politics and serve as a plea for our nation’s leaders to emulate his example,” LilWin expressed.
The actor’s advocacy for increased support in the arts and entertainment sector comes at a time when the industry is facing various challenges.
